Mary Tyler Moore Plastic Surgery

American actress Mary Tyler Moore, best known for "The Mary Tyler Moore Show", is rumored to have had plastic surgery to turn back the hands of time.

Moore, 76, is estimated to have gotten several facelifts, blepharoplasty, lip injections, nose job, dermal injections and veneers on her teeth.

Mary Tyler Moore has long been the subject of plastic surgery rumors. At a public appearance in 2011, Mary's swollen face once again stirred a buzz as fans speculated what could cause her full cheeks

In 2011 Mary Tyler Moore attended the opening night of Broadway show Follies at the Marquis Theatre with a swollen, shiny face, which furthered rumors that she has had plastic surgery.

Moore has never publicly admitted to having had plastic surgery, although she is believed to have had several facelifts, a nose job and a lip augmentation. These theories are furthered by her wrinkly neck but smooth face.

In 2013, Mary Tyler Moore appeared with a very tight skin when she was caught in Betty White's birthday party, in contrast with her neck that seemed wrinkly. In addition to unnatural facial skin, we could also notice that her cheek looks bizarre.

Her fuller cheeks could be the result of wrongly placed cheek fillers like Sculptra, although the Daily Mail reports a source as saying: "Mary's face looked so odd was because she had suffered a nasty fall after tripping over her Golden Retriever dog."

Moore acknowledged getting plastic surgery in her autobiography, published in 1995:

"I decided to get a new face, or at least a much younger version of the one I already had. The operation went well, but the morning I was to leave the hospital, my face resembled a bruised tomato. My eyes were slits, and my entire head was swathed in bandages. I'd been told what to expect, but I wasn't prepared for the apparition that squinted back at me from the mirror. I was a gargoyle," Moore was quoted as saying.

The question is: "What plastic surgeon experts think about Mary Tyler Moore's plastic surgery?"

Dr. Michael Niccole, a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach, noted: "She looks as if she has had a face lift and cheek rejuvenation. Part of what you are seeing…is the overfilling of the cheeks, which causes the lopsidedness. I think she can use a fat transfer to the eyelids to soften her overall look."

Dr. Semira Bayati of Newport Beach thinks Moore's face reflects a plastic surgery disconnect: "Mary Tyler Moore has had a combination of facial procedures…Overall, the upper face and eyes are overdone and the lower face is basically not done."

Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City explained: "The recent pictures of Mary Tyler Moore appear to show abnormal fullness in the cheeks. This can occur when too much filler or the wrong filler is injected under the skin. Fillers are great products when used properly."

The unevenness of Mary's face could also be the result of some kind of allergic reaction rather than plastic surgery recovery.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer was quoted as saying: "The left side of Mary Tyler Moore's face is certainly swollen. I do not believe it is from plastic surgery since both sides should presumably be swollen, but rather probably a reaction to an injury or adverse reaction of some sort."

Conclusion: Mary Tyler Moore has gone overboard with plastic surgery. Sadly, she looks a little scary because she has undergone plastic surgery for over and over again for so many times. As a result of her botched plastic surgery, Mary Tyler Moore appears unnatural and creepy
