Demi Lovato On Cutting Herself: "You Just Want To Feel" (VIDEO)

Demi Lovato spoke out about self-harm in a new interview, revealing to "Access Hollywood" about the years she spent cutting herself.  

"It's more taboo to talk about than drugs and alcohol," Lovato, 21, was quoted as saying.

"Just because you're cutting, (it) doesn't mean you're suicidal," Demi claimed.

Lovato admitted that she began at 11 or 12 years old, hoping: "Maybe this will fix the pain."

While it started as a cry for help, Lovato began to cut in places where "no one would see."




"Sometimes when you are feeling so numb, just by being depressed…you just want to feel," Lovato added.
