Anna Kendrick Super Bowl Commercial For Newcastle Beer (VIDEO)

Anna Kendrick stars in a Super Bowl spot for Newcastle beer which is not actually a Super Bowl commercial.

The ad is part of the brewery's campaign, based on the premise that it can't afford one of the pricey big game commercials, so instead it displays a "behind-the-scenes" clip of Kendrick discussing how the spot fell through at the last minute.

Kendrick, 28, figures out how "hot" she is in the amusing commercial.

Zac Efron Sings Birthday Song For Ellen DeGeneres (VIDEO)

Zac Efron stopped by Ellen DeGeneres' show this week and had a special gift for her birthday.

"Zac told me during the break that he actually doesn't play the guitar but he learned to play guitar and wrote a song for me for my birthday," DeGeneres, who turned 56 on January 26, said to the audience, adding: "And so I'm going to hear a song that he's gonna sing."

"I kind of thought like, what do you give somebody on their birthday that kind of has everything like you do," Efron was quoted as saying, admitting: "I don't really play guitar, and where's Taylor Swift when you need her, but I kind of just figured out how to play this last night."

The crowd clapped along.

"Well, that is sweet!" DeGeneres gushed once Efron was done playing. "Thank you so much."

"You didn't write that song," Ellen joked, to which Efron responded: "I know, that's Stevie Wonder."

Earlier in the show, DeGeneres showed some lovely childhood pictures of Zac.

"Ten years ago?" Zac replied when asked about his High School Musical days. "Geez. Oh my…are you showing embarrassing pictures of me?"

Kate Bosworth Quotes

1. As an only child, you either become a loner or you learn to put yourself out there, which my parents encouraged.

2. I horseback ride, so that's sort of my exercise. I'm not very good at going to the gym, it's a little too stuffy, but I love getting outside and getting some fresh air.

3. I can't deal with someone flashy. That's so not me.

4. My head was always in books.

5. The other day a friend called and told me they made a porn film using the title of my first movie. I guess you know you've made it when there's a porn parody of a movie you've done.

6. I like somebody who's not so crazy but likes to have a good time…and who is thoughtful and kind and easy to laugh with. Somebody you can just be yourself with one hundred and fifty percent.

7. The fashion world feels more normal to me when I'm with them.

8. I don't want to broadcast my personal life because I feel it's off-putting.

9. My parents were amazing and wonderful, but there was a lot of pressure to do my best and in every way possible.

10. (talking about modeling her Lois Lane performance on Katharine Hepburn) I watched a lot of Hepburn (Katharine Hepburn) to prepare for Lois, particularly "The Philadelphia Story" (1940) and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1967). Hepburn (Katharine Hepburn) is a great model for how I see Lois - strong but fragile.

11. At the time, when you're being dissected and judged it's pretty brutal, but in hindsight it's great and - it sounds cliched - you do come out the other side better and stronger.

12. To put as little pressure on the relationship you're in is very important.

13. I hold theatre acting in such high esteem that it scares me.

14. I'd hate to say it, but I'm a blueblood. That's just the way I've been raised.

15. Whenever I hear that I'm on the brink of stardom, I feel like I want to run into a cave.

16. You have to have confidence. You can't be someone who's so insecure that she's a basket case.

17. (on her role of circus knife thrower called Lynne in her new movie "The Warrior's Way") Well it was certainly different! She's kind of Calamity Jane, loose cannon kind of kooky character. And there was a lot of butt-kicking as well so that was fun.

18. (on her role of circus knife thrower called Lynne in her new movie "The Warrior's Way") Training for the film was difficult, exhausting, brutal…but pretty fulfilling. I think we all ended up wearing our bruises and scratches with pride. There was a lot of martial arts training and I wish I'd had a little bit more time to spend on the moves, but we didn't really have it so we were trying to do as much as possible. You have to have the focus of an athlete really when you're training for things like that and I think we all did. It definitely got me a little bit more toned.

19. You know what, I'm a big coward and I'm really afraid of live audiences.

20. I grew up in a small town where everyone wanted to be the same or look the same and was afraid to be different.

21. You never grow out of high school sadly.

22. (talking to Conan O'Brien about the experience of living in Sydney while shooting "Superman Returns" 2006) I love Sydney. I became really attached to the city while I was there. The atmosphere, culture and the people are just so amazing. I went for a cruise on the harbor, and the view of the city is one of the most amazing sights I've ever witnessed. Also, everyone there is in shape, you go to the beaches and everyone just looks so fit.

23. I felt uncomfortable in cliques.

24. Acting is a life experience. I'm always learning things when I'm making a movie. So the fame part of it is fine when you consider what you get out of this job.

25. I wasn't a social butterfly at all.

26. I don't really get star-struck, but I do get talent struck. If I meet somebody that I think is just wildly talented and brilliant, that's when I start getting nervous.

27. I keep everything that's private private.

28. I just think that people take me a little more seriously as a brunette. I don't know if that's just because of a societal preconceived notion that all blondes are stupid, but it's a different kind of attitude.

29. I'm a serial monogamist.

30. I used to really want to go on the stage and then the last couple of years I've done some presenting at some award shows. I was so nervous I thought I was going to be sick, so I don't think me on stage for any length of time would work too well.

31. I'm very independent.

32. It's so different when you change your hair color, you're treated so differently. It's a very funny experience. It's fun - I love changing up my hair.

33. Everybody makes mistakes, including role models, so you should just learn and grow from it. Even the best role models do screw up and learn from their mistakes, and I think it is just completely unrealistic to say that role models are perfect. Personally, I think perfection is boring, and secondly, I just think that it's okay to make mistakes.

34. I really like one-on-one, rich relationships.

35. That's the funniest thing about portraying certain things on screen, sitting next to your parents and they get to see this glimpse of me kissing another guy.

36. I actually hate shopping.

37. There are girls, people in the industry who just kind of flip through magazines and pick out guys, like: "I'm gonna date him". I could never do that. I don't think being set up works. I'm big into fate.

38. The fact that I'm very close with my past relationships is something I pride myself on. My mom is still close to her first husband. It's nice to be able to enjoy someone in a different form.

39. (on the changes that will follow her life and career after being cast as Lois Lane in "Superman Returns" 2006) I'm ready for this. I'm just glad my "breakout" wasn't a gigantic film. I feel solid in myself now.

40. I really wanted to go to high school and be normal.

41. (on the experience of living with her co-stars during the filming of "Blue Crush" 2002) Of course everybody had their own little thing. My worst thing was ice cream, I was so intense about that. I insisted that no one touch the Ben & Jerry's Half Baked. If they did, it was a full-out showdown.

42. You promote your films; it's part of your job. You do the magazine covers and stuff, and then I try to live a really normal life. I definitely don't try to make it into any more craziness than it is.

43. In this business, it's easy for either your heart or your head to be swayed, and I try to always stay true to who I am.

44. I almost envy people who say whatever they want.

45. I'm in love with what I do but it's not the only thing that fulfills me.

46. It's sort of interesting how, when you get older, things that were once so important sort of fall away.

47. I was a real loner in high school, even though people assume I was the head cheerleader.

48. Look, some people talk about their personal lives a lot; I try not to, unless it's more of a generality.

49. I think probably trying to please too many people. Sometimes I get so caught up in making other people happy that I just sort of forget about making myself happy and you obviously need to make yourself happy.
