Justin Bieber Appears In Court Wearing Jail Jumpsuit; Bail Set At $2,500

Justin Bieber showed up in front of a judge in a Miami courtroom on Thursday after his DUI and drag racing arrest early in the morning.

The judge set bail at $2,500.

It breaks down to $1,000 for resisting arrest without violence; $1,000 for driving under the influence of drugs; and $500 for driving with an expired Georgia license. Bail for his pal Khalil, who was also arrested on Thursday, was set at $1,000.

Bieber, 19, who was pictured smiling in his mugshot, wore an orange jail jumpsuit as he was led into the courtroom. He seemed somber and remained very silent throughout the proceedings, occasionally glancing off to the side or shuffling his feet.

Justin is expected to post bail briefly.

According to reports, Bieber blew a 0.04 on the blood-alcohol Breathalyzer test, which is below the drunk-driving threshold for 21-and-over drivers, but clearly illegal for underage drinkers.

Justin will likely receive an automatic license suspension.
