Nadya "Octomom" Suleman Charged With Felony Welfare Fraud

According to reports, Nadya "Octomom" Suleman has been charged with welfare fraud one year after going back on welfare



Just in case you have missed it, the mom of 14 signed up for welfare last January, claiming that she needed some cash to survive after more financial issues.
According to the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office, Suleman, 38, concealed nearly $30,000 in income between January and June of last year.

Octomom is currently facing felony charges, two counts of perjury by bogus application for aid and one count of aid by misrepresentation.




According to celebrity website TMZ, the D.A. is asking for Suleman to be held on $25,000 bail.


If convicted on all counts, Octomom could receive more than five years in jail.








Suleman was reportedly on welfare in 2012 and declared bankruptcy in April of that year.
