Courtney Love Says She Wrote Mocking Note Found In Kurt Cobain's Wallet

Courtney Love claims she was the author of the recently found mocking note which was discovered in Kurt Cobain's wallet when he passed away in 1994.

First, the note that referred to Love, 49, as a "b*tch with zits" who siphoned his money for "doping and whoring," was believed to be written by the late singer.

The Seattle Times reports that Love contacted the paper via e-mail to state it was actually she who penned the mean-spirited letter.

The newspaper reveals Love wrote the brief message on New Year's Eve 1991, the night Nirvana take the stage in San Francisco with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Pearl Jam.

Only half of the note was printed when it was initially published the previous month.

The full letter closes with a promise to have sex "at least once a week, O.K."

The Seattle Times reports that Love's sister Nicole Jon Carroll and a former employee of the Kurt Cobain estate both checked the handwriting and confirmed that it was written by Love.
