Joan Rivers Mourned Funnily By Sarah Silverman On "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (VIDEO)

Jimmy Kimmel began his show on Thursday by acknowledging the death of late comedian Joan Rivers, before paying tribute to her with Sarah Silverman, who stated she was "broken inside."

Silverman, 43, touchingly claimed Rivers was "a hero to me," admitting: "I loved her very much."

She also said that even though the comedy icon was 81, "She wasn't done."

Silverman was quoted as saying: "If she were here, she would want us to be funny," and then attacked Kimmel, 46, with a number of Rivers-like jokes, such as "Nice tie. Who made it, Calvin Clown" and "I love your hair. You have to tell me where you bought it."

Silverman revealed that after her Emmy win, Rivers approached her the next day.
