Sean Penn Introduces Daughter Dylan To Madonna After NYC Concert

Sean Penn introduced his daughter Dylan Penn to his ex-wife Madonna after her "Rebel Heart" NYC show on Thursday, September 17.

Penn, 57, and his model daughter, 24, whose mother is his second wife Robin Wright were seen in the audience at the Queen of Pop's "Rebel Heart" tour stop at Madison Square Garden and according to a source Dylan and Madonna met for the first time backstage at the concert.

"She had never met Madonna before, but Madonna was really sweet to her," the insider told US Weekly, noting: "Madonna and Sean have stayed close friends over the years, so of course she embraced Dylan."

Sean was also spotted standing and smiling during the show when Madonna sang her 80s smash hit "True Blue."

In case you don't know, "True Blue" was dropped in 1986, when the couple were still married and in the notes for the "True Blue" album, the pop icon wrote: "This is dedicated to my husband, the coolest guy in the universe."

The two superstars were married for four wild years before going their separate ways in 1989. Just last month Madonna posted a sultry throwback image, taken by Herb Ritts, with her ex in celebration of their mutual birthday on August 17. (Madonna's pals have referred to the actor as the artist's "one true love.")

It's not the first time Sean has been spotted at one of Madonna's concerts. He also attended a "MDNA" show in L.A. back in 2012, where a concertgoer revealed to Us Weekly that "their chemistry was off the charts."
