The Kooks Partner With Musical.ly For Their Hit "Naive" And I Took The Challenge (Lip Sync)

English pop-rock band The Kooks have teamed up with musical.ly and challenged musers to create lip sync videos in order to promote their addictive single "Naive".

In case you are not familiar with the group and their influences, The Kooks have formed back in 2004 in Brighton. The group consists of Luke Pritchard (vocals/rhythm guitar), Alexis Nunez (drums), Peter Denton (bass guitar) and Hugh Harris (lead guitar/synth).

The guys describe their band as "pop". They are hugely influenced by the 1960s British Invasion movement and post-punk revival of the new millennium. With tracks described as "catchy as hell", the group experimented with Brit pop, reggae, ska, rock, funk and hip hop.

The boys list among their influences The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Beatles and Chris de Burgh.

"Naive" was released on 27 March 2006 as the fourth single from their debut album titled "Inside In/Inside Out". It was featured on the soundtrack for the movie "17 Again" (2008) and on "Resolve",an episode of One Tree Hill and the show's third soundtrack "The Road Mix".

I faced the "Naive" challenge by The Kooks trying to create something different from the original.I can honestly say that The Kooks are really creative and absolutely cool on stage and in interviews they can't help but show their crazy self. Hope you guys embrace their challenge on musical.ly and create your own unique videos.
