Whitney Houston And Bobby Brown's Family Album With Bobbi Kristina

MARCH 1990
After dating comedian Eddie Murphy and football star Randall Cunningham, Whitney Houston met Bobby Brown at the 1989 Soul Train Awards. Here, they stepped out together at a United Negro College Fund event.

            OCTOBER 1992
The  couple released their casual engagement photo to friends, family and fans

JULY 1992
The couple wed on Houston's palatial $11 million estate in Mendham, NJ with 800 guests. Video footage from the special day captured Houston exclaiming, "We did it!"

The couple brought their daughter Bobbi Kristina , born in March 1993, to the 1994 Grammys, where Houston was a huge victor for The Bodyguard soundtrack and its lead single, "I Will Always Love You."

The family celebrated Bobby's 25th birthday at Tavern on the Green in NYC. "I've got a good man," Whitney Houston once stated. "He takes care of me. I don't have to be scared of anything because I know he will kick every ass…disrespect him and you've got a problem."

The couple defied rumors of an impending split at the the Soul Train Awards in L.A.

JULY 1999
"My daughter is my greatest inspiration," Houston said in one of her final interviews before her February 11th death. "She loves me."

APRIL 2000
Brown wiped the sweat off Houston's brow at a 25th anniversary concert for Arista Records, Houston's label, founded by her mentor Clive Davis.

With mom Cissy and Bobbi Kristina behind her, the shockingly thin star thanked the crowd after winning a lifetime achievement award at the  BET awards in Las Vegas.  "No, I'm not a drug addict, and neither is my husband," she told critics. "If that were so, you'd get a lot less work out of me. It would show in the performances and in the work."
The family attended the VH1 Divas Live show in Las Vegas; that same year, she infamously told Diane Sawyer "crack is wack" as she detailed her past drug use. She and Bobby divorced in 2007. "He was my drug," she later said. "I didn't do anything without him."

The trio hit the Hollywood premiere of "The Princess Diaries 2."

JULY 2005
Fans got a much closer look into their bizarre, chaotic life together on the reality show "Being Bobby Brown".

Promoting her comeback album "I Look to You" , and telling Oprah Winfrey she was clean and sober , Houston performed on "Good Morning America" with Bobbi Kristina at her side. Prior to her February 11th death, she had encouraged Bobbi Kristina's interest in singing , even going into the studio together to record potential songs.

Aspiring singer Bobbi Kristina "wanted to be just like her mother,", seen here at the 2009 "American Music Awards" in L.A. "She idolized Whitney, which made always seeing her mom in disarray that much worse." She was briefly hospitalized for a breakdown following her mother's February 11th death at age 48.
