Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera debuted a surprise studio version of "Do What U Want" on New Year's Day.
Gaga, 27, and Aguilera, 33, shocked fans by joining their forces on last month's "Voice" finale, with Aguilera taking over for R. Kelly on Gaga's song.
Aguilera wrote on twitter early Wednesday: "Loved performing #DWUW with @LadyGaga so we made a special version."
Gaga tweeted that she "wanted to start little monsters 2014 with a surprise."
