Shirley Temple Dead At 85

Shirley Temple, the most famous child star of her day, passed away on Monday night.

She was 85.

Temple was surrounded by loved ones at her property in Woodside, California.

The curly-haired actress started her career at the age of three and will always be remembered for her track "On the Good Ship Lollipop."

Among Temple's biggest films were "Bright Eyes", "Curly Top" and "Stand Up and Cheer".

She even had a well-known non-alcoholic drink named after her.

Temple quit acting at the age of 21.

She later tied the knot and, as Shirley Temple Black, with the politically active former star became an ambassador to Czechoslovakia and Ghana.
