Neil Patrick Harris To Host The Oscars 2015

Neil Patrick Harris will be hosting the 2015 Academy Awards this year.

Harris, 41, will hit the stage at the February 22 ceremony for his first time hosting the big event.

The star has taken the Oscars stage, as he has performed at the show before.

Just in the rare case you don't know, Harris has hosted the Tonys and the Emmys in the latest years.

"It is truly an honor and a thrill to be asked to host this year's Academy Awards. I grew up watching the Oscars and was always in such awe of some of the greats who hosted the show," Harris said in a statement, adding: "To be asked to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Carson, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres, and everyone else who had the great fortune of hosting is a bucket list dream come true."
