Zac Efron's New Movie "We Are Your Friends" Trailer

The first full trailer for Zac Efron's new film "We Are Your Friends" has just been released.

In the movie, Efron, 27, plays an aspiring DJ (Cole Carter), who struggles with keeping his loyalty to his pals and a forbidden relationship with Emily Ratajkowski, all while following his dreams.

In the clip, we watch Zac saying: "Study halls, SATs, Liberal Arts, student loans, lay offs, bail outs, broken dreams," before noting: "This is not our future. Things are different for us. You can invent an app, start a blog, sell things online… my friends and I? We promote parties." He goes on: "But if you're a DJ, all you need is a laptop, some talent, and one track. That track is your ticket to everything."

"If you have a dream, and it's made of everything that's made you, hardship, friendship, so much love… that's your ticket to everything. This is my future," Efron adds.

"We Are Your Friends", which was directed by "Catfish" co-host Max Joseph, hits theaters on August 28.
