"#CutForZouis" started trending around the world on twitter on Tuesday evening after footage leaked showing Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik smoking a joint.


While no one can be sure about how the trend began, many of the tweets were accompanied by graphic snapshots of self-harm.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time One Direction has gotten involved in the terrifying online movement.

In August, "#CutForZerrie" trended after Malik's engagement to Perrie Edwards.
