Michael Fassbender To Play Steve Jobs In New Biopic

Michael Fassbender is set to play the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in an upcoming movie based on the life of the entrepreneur.

According to Deadline, other stars included in the cast will be "Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as former Macintosh marketing boss Joanna Hoffman, Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Katherine Waterston as Jobs' ex-girlfriend Chrisann Brennan and Michael Stuhlbarg as one of the Mac's original developers Andy Hertzfeld."

The film will be based on the Walter Isaacson best-selling biography and will be directed by Danny Boyle with a script by Aaron Sorkin.

Christian Bale had originally been featured in the project, but the deal fell through. Filming has already started on the movie in San Francisco and sightings of period cars from the early 1980s have been seen in the Berkeley region.

Are you looking forward to watching Michael Fassbender as the late technology pioneer?
