Vanessa Hudgens On Taking Roles: "I Don't Want To Do The Same Thing Twice"
Vanessa Hudgens appears on the cover of February's FLARE, where she discusses breaking away from her child star past for darker characters in projects like "Spring Breakers" and "Gimme Shelter".
Hudgens, 25, said of the more mature films: "They send you roles that you've just done, but I don't want to do the same thing twice. I want the parts I gotta go out of my way for."
"Now it's adults, and not even those who have kids, who actually know me," Hudgens confessed to the mag, adding: "It's kinda cool because people my age are actually seeing my work and appreciating it."
