L'Wren Scott Dead: Mick Jagger's Fashion Designer Girlfriend Dies In Apparent Suicide

Fashion designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger L'Wren Scott was found dead in an apparent suicide on Monday.


Scott, 47, was found in her New York flat at approximately 10 a.m. by an assistant.

According to local reports, Scott was discovered hanging by a scarf tied to the doorknob.

Cops do not suspect foul play.



No suicide note was found.



A rep for Jagger, 70, described the music legend, currently on tour in Australia, as "completely shocked and devastated" by the loss.

Scott started her fashion career as a model before turning into a well-regarded stylist and launching her own company in 2006.

The fashion designer dressed celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Sandra Bullock, Amy Adams and Reese Witherspoon.



Scott and Jagger had been dating for more than 10 years.
