"Make Room For Daddy" Star Marjorie Lord Dead At 97

Actress Marjorie Lord, best known for playing Kathy "Clancy" Williams, opposite Danny Thomas's character on "Make Room for Daddy" and later "Make Room for Granddaddy", has died. She was 97.


According to the Los Angeles Times, Lord passed away on November 28 at her home in Beverly Hills, California due to natural causes.

The star was survived by her daughter Anne Archer from a marriage to John Archer, her son, Gregg Archer, grandson Tommy Davis, four other grand children and three great-grandchildren.






Marjorie was also an avid philanthropist and a supporter of USC, the Music Center and many arts organizations.
