Justin Bieber Came Up With The "Despacito (Remix)" Idea
How could have anyone ever imagined that the big hit "Despacito (Remix)" was Justin Bieber's idea?
Bieber, 23, actually contacted Luis Fonsi for the remake of the song, featuring Daddy Yankee.
It obviously turned out well as it became a huge success so soon!
"Despacito (Remix)" is the first song written in Spanish to make it into the top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 list in 20 years!
"The reality is that the song, thank God, is already a global hit," Fonsi revealed to Yahoo, noting: "What Justin Bieber does now is take it to an Anglo-Saxo market. He was the one who initiated it. He was on tour in Colombia when he heard the song in a club. He saw how people reacted and told his manager he wanted to record the song."
"(Justin) recorded it and decided to sing in Spanish on his own, and I think it's incredible", Luis stated.
