Paul Walker Crash Site Burned Tree Stolen, Put Up For Sale On eBay

According to reports, pieces of burned tree bark, allegedly stolen from the scene of Paul Walker's fatal car accident, were put up for sale on eBay before the thief had changed his mind.

According to celebrity website TMZ, an anonymous seller shared six pieces of fire-damaged bark from the site of Walker's tragic death last weekend, asking for at least $100 apiece.

When the seller got hate messages for attempting to make profit from the tragedy, he took down the auction.

"I would like to apologize to the family, friends, and fans of Paul Walker," he revealed to TMZ, adding: "At the time I listed the bark for sale, I did not realize the emotional impact it would have."

Earlier this week, a teenager was busted for allegedly stealing Porsche wreckage from the site.
