Lily Allen Hospitalized After "Projectile Vomiting"

Lily Allen was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after getting sick amid her promotional tour for "Sheezus".


Allen, 29, posted a snapshot from her hospital bed, where she was connected to an IV drip .

"#SHEEzUS in #SHOSPITAL," Allen wrote, adding: "I'm fine though guys, just need some fluids cause i can't keep anything down.#dramz."







The specific nature of her illness was not revealed, but in the hours leading up to her hospitalization, Allen talked about feeling dehydrated, run down from travel and potential food poison.

"This travel catching up with me," Allen was quoted as saying earlier in the week, accompanied by an image of medication.




On Wednesday, Allen wrote: "Prepping for @chattyman feeling a little bit #QUEAZUSand very #SNEEZUS green juice emergency," along with a photo on Instagram.

She then wrote: "#SHEEHYDRATING #poisoned."




After her initial hospital picture, Allen wrote on twitter: "Hi there, still in hospital, still very sick, having some more tests, thank you for your messages. Lily x."
