Billy Joel Screws Up "We Didn't Start The Fire" Lyrics, Calls Track Among "Worst" He's Ever Written (VIDEO)
Billy Joel screwed up his encore at a concert in Toronto earlier this week.
While singing "We Didn't Start The Fire," Joel, 64, completely messed up the lyrics to the track he has performed hundreds of times.
"Wait a minute," Joel told the crowd, claiming: "All you gotta do is f**k up one word in that song and it's a train wreck."
Instead of just moving on the next song "Uptown Girl," Joel told the audience: "It's the same thing verse after verse…One of the worst melodies I ever wrote."
After completing the song without any more slams, Joel was quoted as saying: "That'll be all over YouTube tomorrow," adding: "It's okay. It was an authentic rock and roll f**k up".
