David Brenner Dead At 78

David Brenner, the iconic comedian who appeared on the "Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" more than 150 times, died on Saturday in New York.


According to reports, Brenner had been struggling with an aggressive form of cancer.

Brenner made numerous appearances on talk shows and games shows and shortly hosted his own late night show in 1987.



Younger crowds knew him from his regular appearances on Howard Stern's radio show.

Brenner was 78.
