Sir Christopher Lee Dead At 93
Sir Christopher Lee, the legendary actor who played villains and became famous for his role as Count Dracula in a sequence of Hammer Horror movies, has died. He was 93.
Lee was married to Danish former model Birgit Kroencke for a little over fifty years and he is survived by their daughter, Christina.
The actor died on Sunday June 7 2015 at 8:30 am at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London after suffering heart failure and respiratory problems.
The iconic star has also made memorable appearances as Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film "The Man with the Golden Gun" (1974), Saruman in "The Lord of the Rings" film trilogy (2001–2003), "The Hobbit" film trilogy (2012–2014) and Count Dooku in the final two movies of the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy (2002 and 2005).
