"Godfather" Star Alex Rocco Dead At 79
Alex Rocco, best known for playing Las Vegas casino owner Moe Greene in the classic movie "The Godfather", has died. He was 79.
The actor's daughter Jennifer Rocco announced his passing on her facebook page.
The cause of his death is currently unknown.
Rocco's career spanned over 50 years. His roles have ranged from comedy to portraying gangsters in Mafia films.
He also appeared played Charlie Polniaczek, Jo's father on "The Facts of Life" from 1981 to 1988 and won an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his role as Hollywood talent agent "Al Floss" on the television comedy series "The Famous Teddy Z" in 1990.
