Zayn Malik Victim Of Death Hoax

Zayn Malik is not dead.

A death hoax about the One Direction singer emerged on Monday, leading #RIPZaynMalik to trend worldwide on twitter and alarming Zayn's millions of fans.

It's 100 percent bogus - Malik, 21, is alive and well.


The rumor, which comes hours before April Fools Day, was incensed in part by a fabricated, photoshopped "BBC" story about Malik being found dead in a hotel room.

A similar false BBC story pranked people into believing Lady Gaga, 28, passed away back in 2011.
