Paula Deen Plastic Surgery
American cook, cooking show host, restaurateur, author, actress and Emmy Award-winning television personality Paula Deen (birth name: Paula Hiers) is rumored to have had plastic surgery to improve her appearance.
Deen, 66, is speculated to have had botox injections, facelift, neck lift, tummy tuck, brachioplasty and liposuction.
Deen managed to lose 45lbs after being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. With her figure dramatically decreased in size, Deen has admitted to considering plastic surgery.
Deen, who became famous for her high fat recipes, opened up about specific parts of her body drooping after heading the excess weight.
Deen revealed to Entertainment Tonight on February 2013: "At 66 you'll find your chin in your lap, you know, if you lose too much, because that loose skin has to go somewhere doesn't it?" adding: "I don't want to be cut on," referring to excess skin removal.
It has to be noted that Deen is planning to drop another 15lbs!
However she fears going under the plastic surgeon's knife and all the dangers that come with it.
She continued to interviewer Brooke Anderson: "Folks wake up dead after that surgery sometimes. I'm just scared of it."
Many gossip websites implied that Deen lost all the pounds by getting liposuction and brachioplasty (or arm lift) to get rid of the excess skin on her stomach and arms and then spend her time off camera in arm lift recovery.
In some pictures Deen looks younger than her actual age while in others she seems older, but that could be a result of photoshop. For those who don't seem to believe that explanation, Deen has gotten a facelift and neck lift to stay away from wrinkles.
Conclusion: Paula Deen appears to age without the help of plastic surgery.
