Nina Simone Lawsuit

No doubt Nina Simone's 1965 hit "Sinnerman" is an R&B classic.  


According to celebrity website TMZ, Simone's heirs filed a lawsuit against phone company HTC for $1 million at least for ripping off the big hit.

The lawsuit - filed by Simone's estate - blasts the smartphone company of using her song in its TV ad without obtaining the rights.
