Jewel and Ty Murray Enjoy Parade With Son Just Days After Announcing Separation (PHOTO)

Just days after Jewel and Ty Murray announced their split, Jewel shared an Instagram snapshot of the family's Fourth of July celebration.  




"Happy fourth everyone! @typbr Kase & I enjoyed the parade here in CO. Send pics of your weekend!" Jewel wrote on Saturday.

In case you have missed it, Jewel, 50, and Ty Murray, 44, are breaking up after six years of marriage and 16 years together, having welcomed son Kase in 2011.

In announcing the separation on Wednesday, Jewel was quoted as saying: "We did not want anger to burn the ties that bound us. Instead we have chosen the much more difficult task of undoing ourselves stich by stich, and releasing each other with love so that we may take on our new form: dear friends and devoted co-parents of our beloved son Kase."



It seems that the pair meant it when they said their breakup would be amicable and friendly for the sake of their son.
