Paul Wesley: "Please Help My Friend Who Has Brain Tumor" (VIDEO)
Paul Wesley ask fans for help.
In a new clip Wesley, 32, states his pal Maggie was just diagnosed with a brain tumor, which means she can't pay her medical bills.
The "Vampire Diaries" star relies on fans to contribute.
Wesley, along with Maggie's family and friends, have set up an online fundraiser in hopes of raising enough cash to cover costs associated with a major surgery she is scheduled to get next week.
"I'm humbly asking you guys here to join me today and donate," Wesley is quoted as saying.
Wesley explains that the 30-year-old Maggie, who was diagnosed just a week ago, works full-time and that even after her insurance benefits, she will still be left with "monumental" costs that are "virtually insurmountable."
In exchange for donations, fans can likely win prizes like "Vampire Diaries" memorabilia and even a phone call from the star himself.
Currently, the fundraiser has gathered almost $1,000 and has a goal of $15,000.
