One Direction Announces "Where We Are Concert" Film (VIDEO)
One Direction is hitting theaters for one weekend only on October 11 and 12, with tickets going on sale July 28.
On Monday, the group took to Youtube to announce "One Direction: Where We Are", a new concert film fans can watch on the big screen in October.
"If you haven't had a chance to come see us at our "Where We Are" stadium tour this year, or you simply just want to relive it again, we've got a very, very special announcement for you," Niall Horan says in the clip.
"The "Where We Are" tour is coming to a cinema near you for one weekend only," Zayn Malik points out.
"You can see a concert plus an exclusive interview with us talking about what happens with us on tour on the big screen on the 11th and 12th of October. Check out our Facebook and our website for more details," Liam Payne adds.
The movie will include 75 minutes of concert performances along with 15 minutes of never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews.
According to the film's official website, the movie will show the boy band's concert recorded at Milan's San Siro stadium. The project will not be in 3-D like their previous film "This is Us," but will feature 75 minutes of concert footage in high definition, as well as 15 minutes of recorded interviews with the group.
After the film's limited release in October, the movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 1.
A trailer is scheduled to be released in the following weeks.
