Tommy Ramone Dead At 65
Tommy Ramone, the last surviving member of the punk group The Ramones, passed away on Friday. He was 65.
No information about the cause of death has been released yet.
Ramone was the drummer and co-founder of the iconic band, along with lead vocalist singer Joey Ramone, guitarist Johnny Ramone and bassist DeeDee Ramone.
He also produced The Ramones first three albums.
In 2002, the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Joey Ramone passed away in 2001 from lymphatic cancer, Dee Dee Ramone died the following year from a drug overdose and Johnny Ramone succumbed to prostate cancer on 2004.
