Ariana Grande Performs "Bang Bang" With Little Big Town At CMA Awards (VIDEO)
Ariana Grande sang at the CMAs for the first time ever on Wednesday, sharing the stage with Little Big Town.
Grande, 21, joined forces with the country music band on "Day Drinking" and "Bang Bang" while glowing in her neon outfits.
Ariana's CMA Awards performance was revealed last month, along with the news that Meghan Trainor would take the stage with Miranda Lambert. Little Big Town singer Karen Fairchild later revealed to Ryan Seacrest, 39, that she and her band mates are "big fans of her voice and talent."
"She's had an incredible year and it was a wild hair to dream up this collaboration, but we're so excited she said yes," Fairchild was quoted as saying. She further claimed that she wished Grande would "enjoy the party because no one puts on a better party than Nashville and the CMA awards." Fairchild noted: "In country music we're lucky to have some of the kindest most talented people in the business, and we're excited to introduce her to our friends."
Grande and Little Big Town tweeted about the performance, with the country group writing on Tuesday: "You're a sweetheart and have the voice of an angel. Tomorrow is gonna be epic!" Ariana tweeted: "great rehearsal w @littlebigtown just now! sweetest & so talented. excited to sing w them on the #CMAs tomorrow."
