Zooey Deschanel Pregnant

Zooey Deschanel is reportedly pregnant! 
 



Deschanel, 34, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jacob Pechenik. 




"Jacob and I are over the moon. We are so excited to meet our little one," Zooey revealed to People.

The pair started dating last year. The "New Girl" actress was first married to "Death Cab for Cutie" singer Ben Gibbard and divorced in 2012 after three years of marriage.

In an interview with InStyle last July, Deschanel said of getting pregnant: "When I was married, that was the first thing people wanted to know. Like every woman is dying to give birth!" She went on: "I don't think so," adding: "Nobody asks a guy that. And you go into a supermarket and every tabloid is like: "Pregnant and Alone!" Stuck in this 1950s ideal of how a woman should live her life. That's not something that defines me at all.""



Deschanel's sister Emily is now expecting her second child with husband David Hornsby.
