Madonna On Age: "People Ask Me Because I'm A Woman"

Madonna is still the ultimate Queen of Pop, but she hates it when people refer to her age. 









In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Madonna, 56, said: "To me it's a sexist thing to ask why I keep going," noting: "No one said to Picasso when he was 80: "why are you painting?""

As for why Madonna thinks asking her about age is sexist, she replied: "Because he's a man and nobody asked him that," adding: "But because I'm a woman, people ask me. Does anyone ask Mick Jagger why he keeps going on tour?"
