Meryl Streep Sings Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" For "Ricki And The Flash" (AUDIO)
Meryl Streep is singing Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" for the comedy-drama movie "Ricki and the Flash".
In the Jonathan Demme directed film, Streep, 66, sounds like she is performing at a karaoke night.
To play the character of Ricki, inspired by screenwriter Diablo Cody's mother-in-law, the Oscar winning actress took guitar lessons with Neil Young and rehearsed for weeks with co-star Rick Springfield to improve her singing.
Mamie Gummer, Kevin Kline, Sebastian Stan, Audra McDonald and Ben Platt are also starring in the film.
"Ricki and The Flash" follows the story of a woman who left her family to become a rock star and gets a chance to work things out when her ex-husband Pete asks her to visit Indianapolis and help their estranged daughter Julie through a hard time.
