What Would I Say To A Younger Version Of Myself ?

So, here lies the big question:

" If you were gifted with superpowers to turn back time, what kind of advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?" Oh sure... that's a tough one!

As we were younger, we lacked the experience and knowledge to work things out and we were often led by individuals - naysayers, skeptics, frenemies and even family members - to act contrary to our beliefs and our unique personality. We gave away our power to other people because we believed that if we did so, we would be more lovable and likeable. That proved so wrong in the long run.

Older people often claim that due to their experience, they know better. How selfish and manipulative was that! No one knows what's best for you except YOU! Even if you took the "wrong" decision, that's not a crime that you will be punished for the rest of your life. It's a lesson that you need to learn. That's all...

Thank God I finally listened to my inner voice and did whatever I had in mind. The curiosity I had about things was mission accomplished indeed...the obstacles were many as well as the
twist of unfortunate events, but as I say everything happens for a reason and life begins the moment you decide to step out of your comfort zone.

Long story short, the advice I would give to my teenager self and I can honestly say that I keep on reminding myself even today is: "What people think of you is none of your business". Besides, what is meant to stay will stay.
