Erin Brockovich Arrested For Boating While Intoxicated
Erin Brockovich, the famous environmental activist whose life inspired the 2000 film starring Julia Roberts, was arrested on Friday for boating while intoxicated.
Brockovich, 52, was taken into custody at the Las Vegas Boat Harbor in Lake Mead, Nevada, after she found difficulty in docking her boat and required help.
According to reports, Brockovich, who allegedly was slurring her speech, failed a sobriety test, blowing "significantly" higher than the legal limit of .08.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, she was released from jail after posting $1,000 bail.
