Hang Mioku Plastic Surgery Disaster
Former Korean model Hang Mioku, now 53, had her first plastic surgery operation when she was 28; hooked from the beginning she moved to Japan where she had further procedures - mostly to her face.
Following procedure after procedure, her face was finally left augmented and disfigured, but she would still look at herself in the mirror and believe she was beautiful.
Eventually the plastic surgeon experts she visited refused to carry out any more work on her and one suggested that her addiction could be an indication of a serious psychological disorder.
When Mioku came back to Korea, the plastic surgeries she underwent altered her features so much that her own parents didn't recognize her.
After realizing that the girl with the severely swollen and scarred face was really their daughter her terrified parents took her to a doctor. Once again the possibility that Hang had a mental disorder was raised and she began treatment.
However, this treatment was too expensive for her to follow and she soon resorted to her old ways.
Surprisingly, Hang found a doctor who was willing to give her silicone injects and he even gave her a syringe and silicone of her own so she could self-inject!
When her supply of silicone ran out Mioku resorted to injecting cooking oil into her face.
Mioku's face became so grossly large that she was called "standing fan" by kids in her neighborhood - due to her large face and small body.
As Hang's notoriety spread she was featured on Korean TV. Viewers watching the report felt sorry for her and donated thousands of pounds to reduce the size of her face.
During the first operation surgeons removed 60g of foreign substance from Hang's face and 200g from her neck. After many other sessions her face was left amazingly reduced but still scarred and disfigured.
Now even Hang can notice the damage she has caused and wishes she could have her original face back.
Recently Hang Mioku was spotted working in a recycled clothes shop, called "The Beautiful Shop", receiving handouts from the state.
Conclusion: Learn to love yourself and feel grateful for the face you have been given. Playing games with nature can be extremely risky.
