Paul Walker Official Cause Of Death: Trauma On Impact, Injuries From Fire
Paul Walker has officially passed away from the combined effect of "traumatic injuries" sustained on impact and "thermal injuries" from fire during his fatal car accident over the weekend.
The Los Angeles County Coroner announced Walker's autopsy results on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old actor died as the passenger in a vehicle driven by pal Roger Rodas, who crashed the Porsche into a light pole in Los Angeles on Saturday.
According to the coroner's report, Rodas died on impact and the fire did not contribute to his passing.
They both were positively identified by dental records.
Their deaths have been ruled an accident.
A toxicology report is expected in six to eight weeks.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what provoked the high-speed single car crash.
