Angelina Jolie Takes Legal Action Over Heroin Video
According to several reports, Angelina Jolie will take legal action against The Daily Mail after the tabloid shared a clip it shows her addicted to heroin in the 1990s.
In the footage, we notice a then-twentysomething Jolie pacing around her Manhattan flat and speaking on the phone to her dad Jon Voight.
According to the Daily Mail, the 16-minute clip was filmed by a drug dealer named Franklin Meyer and captures in Jolie "the essence of a druggie… blotchy faced, hollow-eyed, painfully think and talking tedious drivel."
While Angelina has never hide her past drug issues, it seems she is upset about the invasion of privacy the video represents and preparing to go after the outlet.
On Friday, The Times of London reported that Jolie "has started legal action."
