Jennifer Lopez and First Lady Michelle Obama took a selfie on Thursday in New York.


The two female celebrities appeared at an event for the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), which intends to help and empower the Hispanic population in the U.S..

Lopez, 44, introduced Obama, 50, to the crowd, who spoke at the convention.

Afterwards, Lopez tweeted: "Me and my girl @flotus at #LULAC National convention for the empowerment of Latinos. #represent #keynotespeaker #introingthekeynotespeaker #dreambig."
