Nick Jonas And Demi Lovato Collaborate For Duet "Avalanche" (AUDIO)
Nick Jonas collaborated with Demi Lovato for his brand new song "Avalanche," which made its debut on Thursday.
For their duet, Jonas and Lovato's affair is at its breaking point.
"I got pride you can't hold your breath," they both sing on the heartbreaking single. The chorus goes on: "We'll crash down like an avalanche. Look out now, don't take one more step. We'll crash down like an avalanche, avalanche."
Jonas, 22, spoke out about the track and his collaboration with Lovato in late October, explaining to MTV News: "This song, we just heard it and fell in love with it. I think in a strange way (it) embodied what we went through a couple of years ago, when she was going through a really tough time." He noted that it is about a "relationship being on the verge of breaking down." Nick also praised Demi, claiming: "She killed the vocals, and I knew immediately that it was the perfect song for us to do together."
In early September, Lovato, 22, revealed that she and Jonas had recorded a second duet titled "Afterglow," although it is unknown at the moment when or if it will ever be dropped. "Avalanche" is included in Jonas' self-titled album, which is set to be released on November 11.
