Burt Jenner Calls Out Hypocritical Supporters Of Father Bruce Jenner After Diane Sawyer Interview
Bruce Jenner's eldest son Burt took to social media on Saturday, the day after Bruce's candid Diane Sawyer interview, to diss those who have latched onto his dad's recent popularity after months of ridicule.
"Having a hard time not putting a few people on blast who were not supporters before hand, but want to act like they were all along," Burt Jenner, 36, wrote on his twitter account.
In the two-hour special, Bruce's struggles in the media were documented with late night hosts poking fun at the former Olympian's gender and image.
Bruce Jenner, 65, even admitted to thinking of committing suicide after news emerged of his tracheal shave.
"That night, I thought: "It's over." I was walking up and down this hall back and forth all night long. Heart pounding," Bruce revealed to Sawyer, adding: "I thought: "Wouldn't the easiest thing to do right now is go in the other room, get a gun. Pain is over. Done. Go to a better place.""
