Sarah Jessica Parker's HBO Pilot "Divorce" Picked Up To Series
It was recently announced by Deadline that Sarah Jessica Parker's comedy pilot "Divorce" had been picked up by HBO.
Parker, now 50, is set to play Frances, who is a woman who unexpectedly starts to reevaluate her life and her marriage and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she ever imagined.
Thomas Haden Church will portray her husband, Robert, who is shocked to find out that his wife's perspective on their marriage is different from his own.
"Divorce" is written by Sharon Horgan, who will also executive produce with Parker, Alison Benson, Paul Simms and Aaron Kaplan. Jesse Peretz will direct the pilot.
