Angelina Jolie To Receive Honorary Oscar For Humanitarian Work At 2013 Governors Awards

In detail, Jolie, 38, is scheduled to receive a honorary Oscar presented by the Board of Governors Of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (the same organization that presents the Oscars each year) for her humanitarian work, along with Steve Martin, 68, and Angela Lansbury, 87. Costume designer Piero Tosi, 86, will also be honored.
Jolie will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award for her volunteer philanthropy work. According to US Weekly, the award is named after the Danish actor and philanthropist who served as president of the Motion Picture Relief Fund. Previous winners include Oprah Winfrey, 59 and the late Hollywood legends Paul Newman and Audrey Hepburn.
