WWE Star The Ultimate Warrior Dead At 54
WWE legend The Ultimate Warrior passed away suddenly on Tuesday at the age of 54.
The wrestler, whose real name was Jim Hellwig, was inducted a few days ago into the WWE Hall of Fame and appeared on "Monday Night Raw" a day before his death.
The cause of death is unknown, though he reportedly fainted outside an Arizona hotel while heading to his vehicle.
The WWE issued a statement that reads it was "shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever."
"WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior's family, friends and fans," the statement added.
Several remarkable wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan, tweeted their condolences, resulting in the trending topic "#RIPUltimateWarrior."
The Ultimate Warrior is survived by his wife Dana and two daughters.
