Rihanna has released "Diamonds" on September 27, 2012. The song was written by Sia Furler, Benny Blanco and Star Gate. It is featured on the singer's album "Unapologetic".

The song's music video was shot by Anthony Mandler, who directed numerous videos for Rihanna, such as "Only Girl", "Man Down", "Russian Roulette", "Disturbia" and "Unfaithfulness".

Rihanna told Z 100's Elvis Duran of her song "Diamonds": "The lyrics are very hopeful and positive, but it's about love and the gears are a little different from what people would expect. I'm excited to surprise the sonically."
