"Glee" Creator Ryan Murphy: "Glee Will Pay Tribute To Cory Monteith, Lea Michele On Board"

"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy is opening up about the tragic passing of Cory Monteith and the show's plans to navigate through the tragedy.

Just in the rare case you have missed it, Monteith passed away at 31 last Saturday.

As it was written in another post, production on the fifth season of "Glee" has been delayed until next month as the show's crew and cast - including Monteith's real-life girlfriend Lea Michele - recover.

In interviews with numerous outlets on Saturday, Murphy indicated that the show intends to shoot the first two episodes of Season 5 - an already written tribute to The Beatles - as planned.

The third episode will deal with the death of Finn Hudson, Monteith's character.

"Glee" writers will then take a long break to determine how to best continue with the remainder of the season.

Murphy claims that Michele was consulted on all decisions, and producers gave her the opportunity to proceed as she wanted; Lea let the "Glee" team know that she will return and working as soon as production starts.

A memorial for Cory Monteith is set for this coming week.
